My love and eye for real estate value eventually led to buying and selling land at a profit myself and later participating in a 1031 tax deferred exchange to purchase a waterfront cottage on Hatteras Island.
History-I grew up in nearby Virginia Beach and studied Computer Science and Mathematics at Old Dominion University. After many years of visiting the Outer Banks I met my husband Eric, fell in love and made the beautiful outer banks of North Carolina my home. I became an outer banks local when Eric surprised me by hiring a plane to fly over the beach with a banner reading "Will you marry me Wende?" while friends and family watched on. My husband and I, our daughter Reece and son Adam, live in Kitty Hawk and enjoy frequenting the beach every minute possible.
OBX Lifestyle-In addition to a successful career, being a wife and a proud parent of two, my husband and I are very involved in several church ministries as well as professional and civic organizations.
